Two arrested for planning to loot people

Acting on a tip-off, Haryana Police today arrested two youths as they, along with two others, were allegedly planning to commit loot near the Fatehpur-Mandkoul road in district Palwal.

A country-made .315 bore pistol and a motorcycle without any registration number was recovered from their possession, they said.

Police had received a secret information that four boys were planning to loot people crossing Fatehpur-Mandkoul road.

Following the information, police reached the spot and managed to arrest two while another two ran away.

The accused have been identified as Gaurav and Abhishek, residents of village Janauli of Palwal district, police said.
 

During interrogation, they said to the police that one of the two boys who escaped, was named Kapil, a resident of village Deeghot. They do not know anything about the other boy as he had come with Kapil, police said.

While going through their record, police came to know that various cases of attempt to murder, murder and loot were already registered against these boys in district Palwal.
