Two persons were arrested after a precious idol worth Rs 11 crore was recovered from their possession in Sirsia area of Sharavasti.
The 'asthdhatu' idol of Lord Bhuddha was recovered yesterday on a tip off, Additional SP, Shravasti, Sanajy Kumar said, adding that its value in the international market is about Rs 11 crore.
The police is questioning the two, who claim that they had smuggled the idol from Nepal.
