Two persons have been arrested for allegedly withdrawing money from an ATM by fraudulent means, police said today.
Accused Ranjeet Sahani and Subhash Thakur have been arrested, said Mandeep S Randhawa, Deputy Commissioner of Police of South East district.
According to a complaint filed by one Kashmir Singh, on January 10 he had gone to withdraw money from an ATM in Tuglakabad Extension but he could not withdraw the cash, Randhawa said.

But later he received an SMS that Rs 15,000 was debited from his account.
Police said an FIR was lodged on the complaint and CCTV footage of the ATM booth was taken.
"On April 16, the police team finally zeroed in on two persons and apprehended them while they were present in the same ATM booth from where the complainant (Singh) was cheated," Randhawa said.
During interrogation, the accused revealed that they used to jam the cancel button of the ATM by applying glue on it or used to temporarily fix the star or hash button with the help of small chips and pins due to which the machine used to read the card but could not function.
Later the duo on the pretext of offering help would see the PIN number of the user. When the person used to leave the ATM, they withdrew the money by using the PIN number, it said.
Police said a car and a motorcycle, which the accused had purchased from the cheated money, have been recovered.
