Two arrested in Jalandhar with heroin worth Rs 10 crore

Police tried to intercept a car at Chowgitti gate on G T Road last evening, but it tried to escape.

After a chase, the two occupants of the car identified as Resham Singh and Inderjit Singh were arrested and the contraband seized from the vehicle, police said today.

The two arrested are residents of Jalandhar. They had brought the heroin from Amritsar. A case has been registered against them under the NDPS Act.
