Two arrested with 10 kgs of charas

Ram Adhar Sah (40) and Manoj (25), both hailing from Bihar's Betia, were apprehended from Peeragarhi on Friday, Sanjay Kumar Jain, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), said.

Sah told police that he entered the world of drug peddling to meet family expenses along with two persons of his village.

"They allegedly started drug trafficking after procuring the same from Nepal. In 2010, he came to Delhi to deliver a consignment of opium but was caught by Narcotics Cell of Crime Branch. He was released on bail in 2011," Jain said.

Manoj was lured into drug trade allegedly by Sah. "Manoj is associated with the health department of Bihar Government in Narkatia Ganj," Jain said.
