The Rachakonda Police today said they have arrested two persons for allegedly possessing illegal weapons and trying to sell them.
Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said the duo was trying to sell two pistols, one of them made in Italy, for Rs 1 lakh each, along with a live cartridge.
The duo was identified as Putluri Eshwar Reddy and Tellagorlla Sunil Kumar, Saroornagar Police Inspector S Lingaiah said.
Reddy is suspected to have been involved in a few dacoity cases in Chhattisgarh, he said.
