Two aides of Asaram Bapu, who are co-accused in a sexual exploitation of a minor girl, were granted bail by Rajasthan High Court today.

Justice Nirmal Jeet Kaur granted the bail to Sharad Chandra (administrator of the gurukul at Chhindwara) and Prakash ( Asaram's cook) today.

Their counsel Pradeep Choudhary said that the court allowed their bail plea admitting their arguments that none of the two had been mentioned by the victim in her statements to the police and later to the magistrate.

"Police implicated them only because they were close to Asaram whereas being his employees, they were just discharging their duties. This does not mean that they were also involved in the alleged conspiracy", said Choudhary.

With this, all the four co-accused of the case, Sanchita Gupta alias Shilpi and Sevaram Hethwadia alias Shiva, Sharad Chandra and Prakash have been granted bail by the high court after repeated rejections earlier.

While Asaram has been rejected bail by the same court twice.
