A division bench comprising Justice Ashim Kumar Roy and Justice Tafiq Uddin granted bail to Sau and Guria on a bond of Rs 50,000 each.

The court directed them not to enter East Midnapore district, under which Haldia and Nandigram falls, till further orders and to appear before the investigating officer thrice a week.

The three were arrested by the CID from a guest house in Mumbai on March 17.

They were accused of abduction during an attack on a peace rally by Bhumi Uchhed Pratirodh Committee (BUPC) on November 10, 2007 during the infamous 'recapture' Nandigram.

Seth, considered the Haldia strongman, was released on bail by the high court on July 13 after remaining in custody for 118 days.
