Two Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested after they were found here staying illegally, police said today.
The duo was arrested yesterday from a slum behind Sector-8 area, police said.
Acting on a tip off, police raided the slum and nabbed Mukhtar Ali and Masoom, both residents of Manirampur in East Bangladesh. The duo failed to produce their passport or visa when asked, said assistant Sub-Inspector Ramavtar.
Case has been registered under relevant sections of the Foreigners Act and the matter is being probed, the ASI said.
