Two beaten to death in land dispute

Two persons were beaten to death in two separate incidents in Bihar's Vaishali district last night.

Police officials said both killings were a result of land disputes, which turned into arguments and fight. In the first incident Tulsi Rai (45) was thrashed by some persons at Sariya village under Lalganj police station of the district.

Lalganj Station House Officer (SHO) Ritesh Mandal said an FIR has been registered against named accused in the case and the dead body has been sent for postmortem.

In the other incident, Mukesh Paswan (25) was beaten to death by a few people at Abu Hasanpur village under Vaishali police station. Police officials said an FIR has been lodged and investigation has started in the case.
