Two insurgents of the Bru National Army (BNA) were arrested from Naisinghpara Reang Refugee camp in Kanchanpur sub-division of North Tripura district, police today said.

Demini Reang and Dharmen Reang were arrested when they were trying to kidnap two inmates of the camp yesterday.

About 37000 Bru/Reang community people, displaced from neighbouring Mizoram following ethnic clashes, have been sheltered in six evacuee camps in Kanchanpur since 1997.
