Two bodies were recovered today from roadside on NH-55 in Cheria Bariyarpur police station area in Bihar's Begusarai district, a police officer said.
The local people found two bodies lying near Parsauna crossing and informed the police, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Harishankar Kumar said.
The bodies have been identified as that of Ranjit Yadav (35) and Gulten Singh (45), he said, adding it bore severe injury marks.

A bike reportedly belonging to the victims were also recovered some distance away, Kumar said adding that it appeared that the two had met with road accident or they might have been killed by unidentified assailants.
Meanwhile, the incident outraged local people who blocked road by carrying the bodies with them demanding compensation to the families of the two victims.
Senior officials have rushed to the spot to pacify the protesters, the SDPO said.
