Two bombs were today found during searches at the sprawling Gandhi Maidan, where another rally is scheduled for tomorrow after Sundays blasts in which six persons were killed and 82 others injured.

"A suspicious object was recovered which turned out to be a bomb," Superintendent of Police (City) Jayant Kant said as the Gandhi Maidan was being sanitised ahead of CPI(M-L) Liberation's 'Khabardar Rally' there tomorrow.

The bomb was defused, he said, but could not give details about its intensity.

Kumar told PTI that a second bomb was found nearby and defused by the bomb disposal squad.

Serial blasts, seven in all, had rocked the Gandhi Maidan and surrounding areas on Sunday during the 'Hunkar rally' addressed by BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

Six persons were killed and 82 others injured in the blasts which came three months after a terror attack in Bodh Gaya temple town.
