Two boys drown in Nashik

Two youths from Sinnar tehsil town

died after they drowned in the Saradwadi dam here, police said today.

According to Sinnar police, both the XII grade students -- Someshwar Shridhar Sarode (17) and Krishna Sudam Davare (17)-- met the watery grave yesterday after they failed to judge the water level while entering the dam for a swim.

Their friend Amit Raju Jadhav, who accompanied was however safe, police said.

Both the boys were rushed to Sinnar hospital, where doctors declared them dead, police added.
