Two brothers drowned in a pond at a village in Odisha's Keonjhar district today.
The mishap took place when the boys, identified as Manoj Digi (5) and Dinesh Digi (4) - of Malanda village went for a bath in the village pond, police said.
After entering the pond, both the children slipped into deep water and were unable to come out. Their bodies were later fished out of the pond by the villagers and fire brigade personnel, they said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and investigation into the incident was on, Inspector In-charge of Telkoi police station, B K Mallick said.
