When the car owner opened his vehicle this morning, he found the two lying dead inside, police said.
The duo, residents of the MHADA colony of Badlapur East, were playing near their house last evening. They saw an open Maruti Zen car nearby and entered it and possibly locked it from inside, police said.
The kids could not open the door and were suffocated to death inside the car.
A missing complaint was registered last night by the boys' parents and since then the search was on.
The boys were identified as - Shiv Shankar Radeshyam Jaiswal (10) and Ravi Shankar Radeshyam Jaiswal (8).
A case of accidental death has been registered and the bodies were sent for postmortem, police added.
