Two burglars, suspected to have robbed a jewellery shop here nearly a fortnight ago, were today arrested, police said.
Acting on information, a trap was laid and the two were held from suburban Malad, said Nandakumar Gopale, Senior Inspector with Property Cell of Crime Branch.
Prakash Megwal (20) and Rameshkumar Megwal confessed to have committed the robbery in Prakash Jewellers at Lower Parel on November 24, he said.

The duo, along with their associate, barged into the shop at about 9 pm and threatened its owner with a knife before decamping with gold, silver ornaments and two mobile phones, collectively valued at Rs 6.11 lakh, police said.
