Two charged for Indian-origin man's murder in Singapore

A 47-year-old Indian-origin man was found murdered in Singapore and two Malaysians of Indian-descent have been charged in connection with the case.

Sunder Rangasamy, 27, and Thiagu Muniandy, 23 are accused of murdering S Krisnan Value at a multi-storey car park of Pearls centre on September 7 with two other unknown men.

Thiagu and Sunder have been charged for Murder with Common Intention under various sections of the Penal Code.

They are to be remanded at the Central Police Division for a week.

District Judge Eddy Tham granted permission for the police to take them out for investigation and to trace their accomplices.
 

Their case will be heard in court on September 16. If convicted, the two may face death penalty.
