Two boys died after they fell in a pit dug up to store water for construction work at a local stadium in Darolibhai village of Moga district, police said today.
The boys, Maninder Singh (5) and Jagmohan Singh (4), fell in the water-filled pit while playing yesterday evening, they said.
A passerby informed the parents who took them to a hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead, police added.
