Two children today died in Bhagori village here after falling off the roof of a house where a marriage ceremony was underway, police said.
The two, identified as three-and-half-year-old Urmila and three-year-old Dilip, had climbed on to the roof while others in the house were assembled on the ground floor and were busy with the marriage function, said Varsingh Katara, sub-inspector, Shamgarh police station.
The incident plunged the household and the village into grief, the official said.
A case of accidental death had been registered and further investigations were underway, he said.
