A 25-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a tree in Bhagenla village, police said today.
Body of the victim, identified as Amit Kumar, was found hanging yesterday under Khatoli police station here, they said.
A suicide note was recovered from the scene. However, reason behind the suicide is not known, they said.
In another incident, a 30-year-old married man allegedly committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling of his house in Biral village of Shamli district.
The victim identified as Manjagnu was found hanging last evening, police said, adding, the reason behind the suicide is being investigated.
The victim's family has alleged that Manjagnu was murdered by his wife and paramour.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem, they said.
