Two policemen were seriously injured as a group of fighting youths attacked them near the Roadways bus stand here today.
Constables Sushil Kumar and Islam Khan, posted at the bus station, tried to intervene in a fight which broke out between five youths, a police spokesman said.
The youths, however, attacked the two constables with bricks and stones, he said.
They were rushed to Saifai hospital, where the condition of one was stated as serious, the spokesman said.
