The incident occurred between 0500-0530 hours near Manopadu and Alampur cross roads, when the police vehicle hit the lorry from the rear side, resulting in the death of two cops. Two other police personnel suffered injuries in the mishap, they said.
The injured cops were rushed to the Government General hospital in Kurnool, a police officer said, adding that further investigations were underway.
