Two cousins killed in road mishap in Telangana

Two cousins from Karnataka were today killed in a road accident on Hyderabad-Mumbai national highway in Medak district of Telangana, police said.

The incident occurred near an under construction site on Kohir X roads on NH-65 when the motorbike they were riding was hit by a lorry coming from opposite direction, said Praveen Kumar Reddy, Sub Inspector of Kohir Police Station.

The victims have been identified as Kadam Jamedar Namod Kumar and Chandrakanth, both aged around 30 years. Both of them were natives of Bagdal village in Bidar district and were returning home from Hyderabad, police said.

A case has been registered at Kohir Police station in this regard.
