Two-day exhibition to promote self-employment in Mathura

In order to attract unemployed youth towards self employment, MSME (Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) Development Institute, Agra is organising two day National Vendor Development Programme (NVDP) cum Industrial Exhibition from January 7.

"The purpose of the exhibition, being organised in association with National Chamber of Commerce and Industries Mathura at BN Poddar Inter college Mathura ground is to enhance productivity and export promotion in micro, small and medium enterprises sector," VM Jha, Deputy Director (I/C) MSME-Development Institute, Agra said.

He said, during the program, MSME units would also be apprised of purchase procedure, government-public procurement policy and registration procedure in Buyer-Seller meet.
 

According to Jha, another purpose of the program is to make concept of Make in India, Skill India, Digital India, Start up India clear to youth who are desirous of self employment through either of these schemes.

"Besides Ministry of Defence, Ordnance Factory Muradnagar, Mathura Refinery, National Hydro Power Corporation, National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), Association for State Road Transport Undertaking (ASRTU), BHEL, Mazagaon Dockyard Ship Builders Ltd Mumbai, MSME units would also put up their products in around 80 stalls," Brajesh Yadav, Assistant Director MSME- Development Institute, Agra said.
