Music artistes from across genres will perform in Himachal Pradesh to support the treatment of children from under-privileged homes with heart disorders.

Genesis Foundation, in association with Monster.com, is set to organise the festival in the hills of Himachal Pradesh with its flagship event, 'Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival', on March 30 and 31

The music festival was conceived by the Foundation in 2012 with a view to growing its community of donors and well-wishers.

The children supported by the Foundation belong to families with an income of Rs 10,000 per month or less.

"Not only is heart disorder it one of the most common ailments in kids, it is also an area that desperately needs attention and is sorely missing awareness, resources, and support," Kriti Makhija, volunteer Genesis Foundation, said here today.

The festival, in its 7th year, has an exciting line-up of new-age performers.

Sufi singer Rabbi Shergill and versatile singer Suraj Jagan will be the star attractions of the event.

They will be joined by performers Anttu and Johannes.
