Two persons were killed and three others seriously injured in a road accident near Jarang village under Gaighat police station of Bihar's Muzaffarpur district today.
Police said a SUV coming from Muzaffarpur side on National Highway 57 collided with a passenger bus traveling from Patna to Darbhanga and two persons travelling in the smaller vehicle were killed on the spot.
Locals and police officials pulled out the injured persons from the mangled SUV.
They have been admitted to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital in Muzaffarpur town for treatment.
