Two boys drowned in a ditch filled with rain water in the city today, police said.
The dead were identified as Rahul Sharma, aged 13, and Ravi Chauhan (8), SHO, Bhatta Basti Police Station, Raghuveer Singh said, adding their bodies had been handed over to family members.
The two were playing when they slipped into the deep rain-fed ditch and drowned, he said.
