Two drug-peddlers have been arrested and 1.7 kg of heroin worth around Rs 1.50 crore in the international drugs market was recovered by the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) sleuths here.
"Based on a tip off, we rounded up Antim Chavda and Gautam Sav and seized two packets of heroin weighing 850 gm each from their possession from a place under the limits of Rampura police station area last night," NCB Regional Director B R Meena told PTI.
The consignment fetches around Rs 1.50 crore in international market, he added.
Both the accused have been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and are being questioned, Meena said, further investigation into the case on.
