Two electrocuted in Niphad taluka of Nashik

Two workers, hired for colouring of a marriage hall building, were electrocuted at Niphad in the district after the metal ladder used by them touched a high tension electric wire, police said today.

The deceased were identified as Gokul Lokhande (47) and Rajendra Jagtap (27), while another worker Gajanan Jadhav (29), received burn injuries, said police.

The injured was being treated at Nashik civil hospital, police added.
