Two female foetuses found in Rajasthan

Locals spotted the two foetuses in Jalsen pond and informed police.

Both foetuses were fished out of the pond by the police team and later shifted to hospital.

"A case has been registered and the matter is being investigated," SHO Hindaun police station, Karauli, Jagmohan Sharma, said.

According to police, the details of nearby government and private hospitals were being traced in connection with this case.

"If required the DNA test of the two foetuses would also be carried out," Sharma said adding police is contacting local residents to collect more information regarding the case.
