The bodies of two fishermen, who drowned in the sea when their boat capsized at Kappad, near here, were recovered today, police said.
The deceased, identified as Sahadevan (68) and Rajeevan (48), along with five others went for fishing last evening and the mishap occurred late last night when the boat hit a sand dune and capsized.
The bodies were recovered this morning and sent for post-mortem at Koilandy Taluk hospital, they said.
Five others were rescued by their counterparts fishing in the area, they said.
