Two foreign tourists were among four persons injured when their jeep collided with a pick up van on the Tulsipur Balrampur Highway today, the police said.
The jeep carrying foreign tourists was on its way to Nepal from Shravasti when the accident took place near Kauvapur.
Soumitra (35) belonging to Thailand and Yasomin (65) of Switzerland were injured, police said.
They have been admitted to the district hospital.
District Magistrate, Rakesh Kumar Misra said senior officials have been informed about the incident and the CMO has been directed to give proper treatment to the injured.
