Two former Punjab Roadways bus conductors get 7-yr RI

Two former Punjab Roadways conductors were today convicted and were awarded seven years of rigorous imprisonment in a corruption case.

Additional Sessions Judge Rajiv Kalra also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 each on the two convicts.

Yash Pal and Kishan Lal while working as conductors with Punjab Roadways in year 1999 had fabricated passenger tickets and embezzled a huge sum of money, causing financial loss to state exchequer.
