Two vegetable vendors of Bolmedang village in North Garo Hills (NGH) district are missing since Friday, police said today.
The two identified as Karhen Sangma (46) and Jebil Sangma (35) had gone to Guwahati on Friday morning and had informed their family members that they would return the same night.
After they did not return home, the family members informed the police about the matter and an FIR was lodged yesterday, the police said.
The mobile phones of both the missing men are now switched off, they said.
"A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is currently on," said acting SP of NGH, Jerry FK Marak.
