Additional Sessions Judge Rajender Kumar Shastri handed down jail term to Mahender Singh, 33, and Kalicharan, 36, saying they killed 25-year-old Balbir Singh just to take revenge from him.
The court said the convicts had murdered the victim as Mahender was sacked from job due to his alleged bad behaviour while Balbir was retained and even promoted to a senior post.
"The convicts have been found guilty of murdering Balbir by stabbing him several times. Intestines of the victim had come out of abdomen," the court while also imposing penalty of Rs 10,000 on each of the two convicts.
Mahender and Kalicharan had killed Balbir because his colleague Mahender was upset with him, said prosecution adding that while Mahender had been ousted from the job, Balbir had been given a promotion.
The deceased was stabbed by the two on the night of May 8, 2009 while he was on his way to office.
The police had registered the case on the complaint of eyewitness to the incident Suman Kumar, who had even identified the two accused after their arrest by Sarita Vihar police.

Mahender was working with Balbir and his wife at Escorts Hospital in South Delhi, the prosecution had said.
It said that Mahender was working as housekeeper at the hospital, whereas Balbir was his supervisor.
The prosecution further said before the incident Mahender was removed from the job due to his bad behaviour. Mahender had threatened Balbir of dire consequences as he had lost his job due to him, it said.
The court while sentencing them said, "A human life has been made so cheap. What so, if the convicts are young and not previous convicts, the victim was also a young person aged about 25 years having a family behind him."
