Two get life term in Bihar murder case

A court here today awarded life imprisonment to two persons for murdering a man two years ago.

Additional District Judge Ashok Kumar Srivastava also slapped a fine of Rs 20,000 on main accused Indu Jha and his accomplice Ajay Thakur after holding them guilty in the murder of Gangesh Jha.

Indu had shot dead his cousin Gangesh from close range in a cattle shed at Navtolia Balbhadrapur village on January 10, 2015 over a dispute over money.

The weapon used to eliminate Gangesh was provided to Indu by Ajay.

The victim's sister Sunita Devi had lodged an FIR at Bahadurpur police station.
