Two girls into flesh trade rescued from Calangute

The Goa Police today rescued two girls and arrested as many persons for running a prostitution racket in beach village of Calangute.

The raid was conducted this evening near a famous restaurant by the Calangute Police.

Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi said Ashish Sharma (32) and Meghana Nair (39) who hail from Mumbai were arrested for pushing the girls, who belonged to West Bengal, into flesh trade.

The girls in their statement said that Sharma brought them to Goa.
