Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested two government employees Friday at the state secretariat for accepting bribe to facilitate appointment under the 'Exempted Category' status.
Acting on a tip-off, the ACB sleuths maintained vigil on the 4th floor of the state secretariat in the day to nab the two officials, sources said.
Both the accused, an upper-division assistant in the Home Department Pratul Mazumdar and police constable Debashis Borua, were caught redhanded while accepting bribe, they added.
