Two people have been arrested for allegedly killing a man who had asked them not to take drugs inside a toilet complex in outer Delhi's Nangloi area, police said today.

Rahul, who was in his 20s, was allegedly stabbed multiple times by Salman (24) and Sahid (23) yesterday. He had asked them not take drugs inside the toilet complex since women and children also visit it, police said.

This enraged the accused who returned later to avenge the insult. They not only repeatedly stabbed Rahul but also thrashed his mother when she tried to intervene.

Rahul was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, a police official said.

On May 27, an e-rickshaw driver was beaten to death by nearly a dozen men after he objected to two men urinating in public outside GTB Nagar Metro station in northwest Delhi. Two persons were arrested in connection with that case.
