Two persons were arrested with over 12 kilograms of cannabis in Jammu, a police officer said today.
Police yesterday intercepted a truck in the posh Trikuta Nagar area of the city and seized 12.3 kilograms of cannabis from its driver and owner.
The driver, identified as Kali Dass, and the owner, Asha Singh, have been arrested and booked under various sections of the NDPS Act, a deputy superintendent of police said.
"On questioning, the two accused revealed that the drugs were meant for sale amongst youngsters in Jammu district", the officer said.
