Two persons were arrested today with 55 kg silver powder and cut piece from Bajrang chowk in Bihar's Darbhanga district, a police officer said.
Acting on a tip off, the police intercepted two persons riding on a bike and seized 55 kg silver powder and cut piece contained in a sack which the two had smuggled from Nepal, Kamtaul police station in-charge Subodh Kumar Singh said.
The accused persons have been identified as Ranjit Kumar and Pappu Kumar, he said.
The value of seized silver powder and cut piece has been valued at Rs 25 lakh, Singh said.
