Two persons were arrested with 7 kgs of poppy straw in Poonch district here, police said today.
A car was intercepted near Buffliaz area here and the poppy straw seized from their possession, a police officer said.
The accused, identified as Irshad Ahmed and Harmeet Singh, were arrested and booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the officer said.
