Two persons were nabbed from Jubilee Hills here today with Rs 1.34 crore in demonetised currency notes, police said.
A Jaya Kumar, a businessman dealing in sarees, and G Narasimha Mudiraj, who is into real estate, were apprehended when they were waiting for agents to illegally exchange old cash bills of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 denominations on a commission basis, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Task Force) C Shashidhar Raju said. Further probe is on.
