Two, including a juvenile, caught for stealing mobile phones in Metro

Two people, including a juvenile, were caught for disguising as women and allegedly stealing mobile phones and other valuables from Metro commuters, police said today.

A complaint was received by the Delhi Metro police from a woman that her mobile phone was stolen by two women while commuting between Vishwavidyalaya to Rajiv Chowk stations, they added.

The accused, Satyam (22) and the juvenile, were caught after they were identified in footage recorded by CCTV cameras, DCP (Metro) Pankaj Singh said.

It was found that the suspects were previously involved in more such cases, he said.
