Y Sanathoi Devi and Pooja Kadian today assured India of at least two silver medals after entering the finals of their respective weight categories in the 13th World Wushu Championship here.

Asian Games bronze-medallist Sanathoi defeated South Korea's Hyebin Kim in straight rounds in below 52 kg semifinals while Pooja beat Sherouk Mansour of Egypt in straight rounds in 75 kg weight category to enter the final.

The two Indians face Chinese opponents in the finals tomorrow. Sanathoi will take on world champion Lunn Zhang and Pooja will fight against Yuan Li.

Both of Indians have won silver medals in the last editions -- in 2011 in Turkey and in 2013 in Malaysia.

However, 2013 bronze medallist Rajani Deori lost to world champion Ali Abdul Khalikov of Russia in the pre-quarterfinals

Four Indians will take field on the final day of competitions tomorrow. Besides Sanathoi and Pooja, two others -- Surya Bhanu Pratap Singh and Uchit Sharma -- will feature in semifinals.
