Two injured after falling from 'Tora-Tora' ride at Park

: A woman and her 25-year-old son were injured when they accidentally fell from their seats while taking a ride on a circulating Wheel, known as 'Tora-Tora,' at an amusement park here, police said today.

A family hailing from Chennai had visited the amusement park, located on the outskirts of the city, yesterday, following holiday weekend on account of the harvest festival of Pongal.

While taking the Tora-Tora ride, the 54-year-old woman and her son accidentally fell from their seats, a senior police officer said.

The mother and son have been admitted to a nearby private hospital, he said, adding, a case has been registered against the park.
 

Two staff members of the park have been taken into custody for questioning, he added.
