Two injured in clash over petty issue in UP

Two persons were injured when a clash erupted between two groups belonging to different communities following a dispute over a petty issue in Bhulsa village under Hathigava police station area, police said today.

One person from both sides was injured in the clash which occurred after an animal entered into a graveyard last night, Additional Superintendent of Police Dinesh Pratap Singh said.

The injured were provided medical aid, Singh said.

There has been a dispute pending in the village over land belonging to a religious place and following yesterday's clash, PAC has been deployed here as a precautionary measure, he said.
 

The situation is under control, the ASP said.
