Two injured in clash over property in UP

Two persons were injured in firing when a clash erupted between two groups over some property-related issue in Balipura village under Aliganj police station here, police said today.

Lakhan and Mukesh were injured in the firing when a clash erupted with Jahan Singh and his sons over some land-related dispute, they said.

Lakhan and Jahan had an argument which turned violent and Jahan along with his sons - Jagannath, Nanuka and Amit - shot at the duo, they said.

They were rushed to a hospital where their condition was stated to be serious, they said.

No accused has been arrested so far in this connection, police added.
 

In a separate incident, two youths, including a minor, were allegedly shot at by two persons after an argument between them over a petty issue in Manikpur village, police said.

The incident took place after Saurabh (20) and Guddoo's (17) motorcycle allegedly brushed Trilok and Jogesh and an argument broke out between them, they said.

The injured (Saurabh and Guddoo) were admitted to a hospital while the accused fled from the spot, they said.

An FIR has been registered against the accused at Bagwala police station, they said, adding that no arrests have been made in this connection.
