Two injured in leopard attack in Reasi

Two brothers were injured in a leopard attack in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

The brothers, Maqbool and Mohd Ramzan, had taken their cattle for grazing in Mahore forest belt of Reasi district yesterday when a leopard attacked them, police said.

They fought the leopard who then escaped from the spot.

The brothers were injured in the attack and were shifted to hospital for treatment, they said.

In a separate incident, a leopard cub entered into a house in Qilla Mohalla in Bhaderwah belt of Doda district last evening, police said.

The cub was later caught and caged by the forest department and wildlife officials and was later released in the forest belt.
